By recognizing the needs of Surgeons performing smaller incision surgeries and combining the genius of Dr. Bookwalter's original designs with other Mediflex innovations, we are proud to offer The Mini-Bookler System for Small Incision, Neo-Natal and Pediatric Surgery.

We "right-sized" the blades, tilt ratchets and rings of the original system, "an example is shown here" and attached them to lower profile holders that attach to the OR Table. The result is a Table Mounted Retractor System small enough to be used on your smallest patients but flexible enough to be used on virtually all your patients.

Some of the Advantages of the Mini-Bookler System:

Used in virtually the same way as its full-sized predecessor so set-up and use will be intuitive.
Quick and easy set-up. Fewer components than other tablemounted systems. Never more than one bed rail attachment needed.
Table posts are height adjustable allowing unobstructed access to the entire area above the patient.
Ratchets slide onto rings and blades are held automatically where you position them. No separate levers are needed to hold them in position.
Delicate, precise retraction is possible using the Mini Twist Ratchet.
